THE PURPOSE

This blog is created with the aim of gathering all possible information about the illegal trade of protected species and make it public and accessible to all those who are interested. It intends to cover many aspects: conservation status, legislation, enforcement, case law, literature, people, organizations involved and important events. I will nevertheless try to put more emphasis on the legal perspective, and if the occasion comes, prepare legal analysis.

With time all these posts will be updated, so I am more than thankful to those who send me interesting information/documents/book references/links/photos to provide as much information as possible. All sources will be identified using links when possible.
